"It was a fine apartment, very close to the best beach in Lagos and scenic boardwalk trails! We appreciated the location, having so much space to spread out, and extra towels for the beach. We read the reviews ahead of time and were prepared for the downsides: off-site reception, attached to a condemned building, difficult to navigate the very tight parking lot, a cold pool that had not been skimmed of bugs, and the hot tub not functioning. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. "Beautiful complex, well kept grounds, villa dated in some areas such as the kitchen. Needed to call out maintenance several times as electrics tripped, pool step broken, pool lights broken. Staff in the restaurant were lovely, very helpful, polite and accommodating. "

"We were close to a road. Plus the villas behind our apartment had a guard dog that barked constantly."

"The owner took time to get to know us and what we wanted to do. Gave great recommendations for restaurants, shopping sight seeing. The location is great you can walk to the beach we’re there are two good restaurants or to the boardwalk where you can walk into Lagos along the coast. It’s a twenty minute walk to the old town which is great. Uber taxis are readily available never waited more than 10 minutes and only cost 5euro. Will come back"

"We stayed a week at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the room and other facilities and breakfast buffet were brilliant.
