Canal view, more like dungeon view. I was unlucky to have a room facing a wall with a bathroom that smelled so bad of sewerage I heaved every time I went in it. This is a hostel at hotel prices. All you get is a basic dated room. Avoid!

Location is good, very close to Amsterdam Centraal. Room was pretty basic, no elevator so keep that in mind. Staff was friendly. Close to a good breakfast location and nice that it is on a canal.

We were enjoyed our stay here, the staff was very welcomed and very helpful, He brought our luggage upstairs. And the location is near the centraal station, and tram stop. Walkable.
