"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. The home is charming and beautiful. The room was perfection and the grounds were such a surprise. I had no idea they were world class manicured gardens complete with a labyrinth! "I have used this hotel a lot and in general its very good. This time I think due to it being the off season and the weather the experience was not as good. Restaurant was a little cold and the breakfast was limited, other than this everything was great. "

"The smallest 5-star hotel in Europe! My friend and I checked in during the off-season for one night. The staff was so friendly and accommodating! The owner gave us personalized attention and was very helpful. The location is convenient to Mont Saint Michel: just a five-minute drive to the parking lot to catch the shuttle bus. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to treat yourself."

"What a lovely stay! Highly recommend. The hosts, Sonya and Sebastian, were very warm friendly and helpful (They told us about the next morning's high tides which we would have otherwise missed.) The B&B was a nice and quiet place, a short 5-10 min walk to the bus stop. The room had plenty of space yet felt cozy. Loved the featherbed and loved the breakfast. If we're back this way would love to stay again."

"The room was big, clean, with bathrobes and slippers, excellent bed and pillows, exceptional Mont Saint Michel View, nice restaurant with outstanding food, vegetables were incredibles! Good breakfast included, nice staff and very helpful. The hotel has a special Mont Saint Michel View! I highly recommended it! "
