"The place was lovely, and looks very high standard. However the man at reception is very grumpy, condescending, passive aggressive and frankly rude. He made me feel like a nuisance for arriving earlier than I originally said, spoke to me like a child who's never used a fob or a door key before. "

"Excellent stay at this hotel. Convenient and although room is quite compact it was quite modern with lights, air con, heat and door controlled by app on phone. Even key cards for those not tech savvy. Only downside was lift was broken. Price was good and staff efficient and customer focussed."

"Did not sleep for 2 nights the 1st the ceiling came down the floor above fire alarms w.2en1t off at 12.30PM a lot of noise and commotion I had to ask what was happening 2nd night 1.10 3 people where in/out making a lot of noise I had to get up and remind them I was trying to sleep. Very dissapointed with stay set against the cost for 2 nights."

"The room was quite small but very clean and recently decorated by the look of it. Great shower and good lighting etc for makeup. Iron and a fridge with water, small bottle of Prosecco and orange juice. Bed very clean and comfortable. Big TV. The only issue is that it is not light (Roman blinds) or sound proofed. The lift was out of order. The small veggie breakfast was excellent. Check in and check out very easy and staff very friendly. Very lively bar!! I will always stay here when I visit...

"The hotel is fantastic and in a great location. The hotel is literally a 2 minute walk from new street station so not far to carry your cases, the hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming which was really nice to see. We upgraded to a suite which cost £35 and it was well worth it we wasn’t disappointed. The breakfast at the hotel is absolutely fantastic all freshly sourced locally and the staff couldn’t do enough for us an absolute credit to the hotel. It is safe to say we will be staying...
