"Kristina and her staff were great. Super friendly and helpful. The back villa came with amazing views with loungers and a table and chairs to enjoy the raised deck views. Bikes and kayaks were available for use and allowed us to see three turtles in the lagoon while paddling on three separate days. Loungers were also available for use on the beach. "Our accommodation at Waves at Surfside was beautiful! The room view was perfect & the staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had a great time there with Breakas within close distance for food and cocktails on the beach front. We loved the private pool, the villa was very clean upon arrival & had anything we may have needed. I’d absolutely recommend the stay to others! "

"The location is beautiful. Villas face the estuary and the units are well separated so they’re quiet. It’s an easy walk to the river mouth and Ocean Beach. There’s lots of nature - birds, swans, pelicans, kangaroos and a farm next door with cows. Great that dogs are allowed. Unfortunately internet connection is weak but it’s good to disconnect for awhile."

"Stunning location. Immaculately clean. Able to charge our electric car was an absolute plus and a must considering the local charger was out of order. The view?! Incredible. Comfy sofa with a gorgeous fireplace listening to the sound of the waves. Heaven. The goodies given were a bonus: free range eggs, bread, fruit m, muesli, chocolate, sparkling wine all delish and very much appreciated. Spotlessly clean. Private. Wished we could have stayed longer. "

"This accomodation is somewhat faded. Clean and comfortable beds and the heating is good (critical for a winter stay), but the pots/pans/stovetop in the kitchen needed better cleaning and towelrails were missing in the bathroom. Finding someone at reception was tricky too, and it would be good with a mobile number was on clear display at the front desk."

"Loved our time at Escape Aitutaki. The house was beautiful and had all the necessary facilities. We had our own private deck and pool at the back which was lovely. Great place to relax and enjoy the sea view. Thomas and Lizzy were very friendly and helpful as were the staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."
