"We booked this as a large group and it didn't disappoint. The apartments were well laid out with ample space in the living room areas. There was great cleanliness throughout and areas stayed at a nice temperature. The accomodation was really quiet at night and the key system although awkward at first was easier than keys. The location was also great with a short tram or 20min walk into town. Only small gripes are that we would have liked more utensils/ crockery, it would also be nice if there...

"Our stay here was okay I mean we’ve been to worse places but as we arrived we were met with a hole in the floor between our 2 single beds. Then as we were going to microwave our food the microwave had mouldy food inside of it. The manager & cleaners did offer us a different room but we were settled by the time we found the food so we just stayed in our room. "Nice hotel, very big. The room I was booked in smelt of smoke, but staff were very accommodating in moving me. Hotel decor a bit dated. Staff super friendly and helpful. We were there weekend of Newcastle United football celebrations so being right outside station it was very noisy all night up to 05:30am with lots of crowds outside, and even with closed windows we could still hear a lot. Great service

"We stayed here on the busiest night of the year in Newcastle with the football parade. They let us check in early with our bags. The first room had a window seal issue and they immediately moved us when we complained about the noise. We got a room on the top floor. Perfect quiet and comfort. The room was well equipped. There was a nice restaurant with great food. Getting a taxi in the morning was very easy with their service. Very convenient to the train station. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Great hotel in a good location. A little slow to get served at the front desk as there was only one member of staff on, but they were helpful. Breakfast - go for the cold options because the cooked was rather stale."

"I often stay at The Vermont and have always had a good experience. On this occassion, Daniel (don't think iv seen him before) at Reception was amazing. We had a very early start and were tired from our journey. Daniel swifty took care of our bags and bought us some coffee. Helped us with suggestions for Brunch places. Overall, Daniel was very kind, helpful and has amazing front of house presence. "
