"Never again! When I arrived they had no record of my booking, even though I showed them the booking confirmation. After almost an hour they agreed to give me a room. When we were in the room it was freezing, it was -2 in the room, we tried the heating but it didn’t work. Asked reception to move us but they said they didn’t have any other rooms made up. "The property is beautifully decorated and our room very comfortable. Walking around the grounds was easy and it was very pretty along the lake side. It does front on to the racecourse which was a surprise but we wanted to be outside the main town so it suited us well. Breakfast and dinner were very nice but a little bit pricey. The staff were all very friendly and happy to help with enquiries. "
