I tried this hotel based on the excellent comments but it did not work for me. From difficulties to check in to a old man having an inappropriate behavior with a young lady almost naked in the restaurant area yesterday night and a breakfast area not able to serve any kind of cooked eggs this morning. Bad timing maybe that plays against the hotel but my honest feedback.

Das Parkhotel Bochum ist ein frisch renoviertes Haus mit entsprechend sehr guten Zustand. Nur freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Menschen begegnet. Große Zimmer mit durchdachten Lösungen. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Lüftungsanlage ist zentral gesteuert und läuft ab 6 Uhr morgens automatisch an. -> laut Verbindung mit dem Router möglich, jedoch keine stabile durchgängige Verbindung ins Internet. Hotel ist sauber und gepflegt. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück gut.
