Rooms are *tiny* (which is fine), but they seem to prioritize form over function, and the staff, while friendly, didn’t know much. To note: 1) the showers suck 2) the iPad to control things is unnecessarily complicated and buggy 3) no laundry bags in the room - I had to ask the front desk for a garbage bag and they told me they weren’t supposed to give any out 4) no irons in the room, and the ones they have in the hallway are awful 5) the blinds would go up and down on the own 6) did I mention the showers suck?

The climate/ventilation was not working in our room. Spoke with maintenance, no difference. Got no sleep because the temperature was way too hot when our room climate was set to high ventilation and 64°. Lobby/common area was not kept well. Food crumbs and unkept tables was unnecessary. Easily could had a staff member going through with a non-electric broom to clean crumbs or rag to wipe down tables take dirty dishes, and wipe off crumbs from furniture.

It was a very cool, clean, easy place to stay. The rooms are small but well-managed. We were able to be there for a week for two of us and had everything we needed.

The room was small and cramped, nothing worked because the Ipad controlled all functions. I had to crawl over my wife to get in and out of bed. It was too much money to pay for the room with no amenities.

Amazing hotel and it felt very European. The views were amazing as well as the lobby and staff. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s within walking distance to most places although the entrance to the T was closed when I was there but amazing nonetheless!

A very new hotel but not to be underestimated. Location within back bay is excellent. Rooms are slightly on the small side and if you can overlook the slightly odd room arrangement- this is a fun hotel full of quirks as would be expected from citizen M.
