"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. "Check-in was very accommodating as we arrived early. They allowed is to drop off our luggage a d then gave us a room key in case we were late getting back to the hotel after touring. The room was nice. Weird “showering” in a bathtub. There was an elevator there unlike one I’ve seen or used before (see photo.) Reception was a little late for our check out but we were still in time for our train. "

"The room was big, clean, with bathrobes and slippers, excellent bed and pillows, exceptional Mont Saint Michel View, nice restaurant with outstanding food, vegetables were incredibles! Good breakfast included, nice staff and very helpful. The hotel has a special Mont Saint Michel View! I highly recommended it! "
