"Basic four bed room in out buildings. Ok beds with limited hanging space but bathroom very poor. Leaking cistern that had to be turned off after filling, loose tiles, mould in grout, loose broken shower head, poor ventilation, no shower curtain. If my wife had been with me I would not have stayed. My friend and I put up with it as we were only there to sleep and depart very early next morning. I would not stay again without first checking the room. I would consider again if refurbised as...

"We had a little difficulty in finding the property but Google Maps did the trick ! Once we arrived, the reception by the owner was excellent and the property clean, well-equipped and like new. The views across the valley were suberb and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. In the morning, we were brought breakfast exactly on time and it was comprehensive and more than we could eat. "Lovely property off the beaten track. Very quiet and lovely log fire as you enter the reception area.room was a little disappointing. Very clean and great shower but very small. No coffee facilities in room which is always nice after long trip. Staff were great however and offered coffee and a beer in front of fire "

"Hotel is miles from Honfleur and on an industrial park. First room offered was on ground floor where window opened onto cars parked outside. So we asked to move. Next room had broken air con so once again we had to ask to move. Third room had broken door lock - we had to be given the key rather than card key. The toilet lid fell off whilst we were there. All three rooms looked basic and rather tired. One small shower towel per person provided. A picture on the walls would be a nice touch. Staff...

"Lovely quirky hotel! We had a nice room with table and chairs so, whilst no food was on offer, we were able to go to the nearby supermarket for supplies, and have a little picnic in the room after a long journey. The bed was comfortable and, despite our initial concerns, there was no noise from the nearby busy roads. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast included in the price. A great stay and excellent value for money!"

"I love the ambience, kind staff. The pool staff was a bit aloof and didnt start the sauna's on time and I had to ask and they forgot to turn one of them on , (which wouldnt have mattered but I only had an hour and it was the reason I came) It is quite far from the train station and quite a pricey uber/ cab drive (38 euros from trouville station) but it is well worth it for the spa vibe and the beautiful floral decor around the hotel.
