"Staff are welcoming and friendly. They are helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms are clean and tidy with everything you need. The hotel is close to everything- walkable distances to Central Park (11blocks), MOMA (7blocks) and The High Line and Chelsea market (11 blocks) for example. A stones throw from the rockerfeller centre and Times Square and right on Broadway ! Stayed here several times and will always recommend."

"We stayed there because it was close to the theater where we saw a play. It has a parking garage in the basement, which is a huge plus. They offer a continental breakfast, while we prefer a hot meal. There is a big problem with elevator capacity: we were on the 6th floor, and on the morning we left, only two elevators were running, and those two went to the top of the building before coming down, so they were full when they got to the 6th floor, and we couldn't get on. "We were in town for some college tours with our daughter. Great location with perfect access to restaurants and Broadway shows. It gets very busy in that area during dinner/showtimes, so allow extra time to get places. The hotel had a great restaurant, fast elevators, comfortable beds and good water pressure. Wish the bathrooms were a little roomier, but I didn’t expect much larger in NYC. It’s no frills, but a cool old building and a good value for the money. "

"Classic hotel. Rooms are typical for the times square which implies smaller than usual but nicely decorated. The highlight was the staff. From the floor housekeepers to the front desk, to the doorman. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and engaged. "
