"This hotel was AWESOME! The service was great and the food was delicious. I highly, highly recommend a stay here as the employees are very welcoming and do their best to meet your needs. The rooms are upscale and it truly felt like I was staying at a place that cost more money. The pool was also a very nice temperature and we were only here one night but would have gladly stayed more if we were doing more in the area. "

We booked a room in 88 fine hotel and was expecting to sleep in one of the detached rooms as per photos in the booking- however we stayed on the second floor of the black elephant boutique. "Clean space with amenities in line with the price/as advertised. To be fair, this is one of the better lodging options near the airport. However, this hotel was far away from any dining/convenience store, and delivery was pretty much not available after 7pm. There were also no GrabTaxi available in the morning, but this is apparently normal and the hotel staff offered to drive us. The hotel restaurant also closes at 6pm but the hotel does have water/drinks for sale after. And a nice small free...

"The rooms are a ok size with very basic furniture.The bathroom has air bricks and a wedged open small window,so is always hot and sticky. Beds are quiet soft for Thailand standards, pillows are hard.not sure if the road to the rooms is a cut through to a village seamed busy for the resort. no on site shop or cafe etc, shops a fair walk away we stopped a 7-eleven on route to stock up. kettle and cup/glasses in room but no tea or coffee. There looks to be better options to stay around that...
