Only concern was that air conditioner was working to full potential in the room I stayed in for one night. I would highly recommend the De Sea Almond Hotel in Chumphon , Thailand."

"This small boutique hotel was amazing for the price. The room was small but had what we needed for our one night stay. A bit noisy from the dogs outside so I would suggest earplugs and you will sleep fine as my husband and I did. No kettle in the room for coffee, this would be a nice addition. We just walked 5 minutes and we were on the main strip filled with restaurants. It is close to the train station but a good 30 minute taxi ride if you are taking a ferry."

"Tucked away but easy access to town with night markets etc. Family run business: they are very hospitable going the extra mile to help. Clean and comfortable room. Scooter hire on site at very reasonable cost. Staff ready to arrange anything we needed including excursion with collection from hotel."

"Very pleasant staff and nice location on beach and the restaurant and drinks were not expensive. The room and bathroom were rather tired but the bed was comfortable and the air con worked well and it was quiet at night."

"Run down and doesn’t look fresh like the photos. Bathroom wasn’t really clean and shower was terrible. Bed very hard but not uncommon in Thailand. Had to ask for towels and toilet paper. States it has restaurant, bar and poolside bar. Doesn’t have any of these and doesn’t have a pool. Not even sure we got the room we paid for but communication wasn’t the best. We wouldn’t stay here again. "
