"The resort is on the end of Wrightsville with wonderful views of the inlet by Figure Eight Island. In warm months, the vast beach is smooth with easy entry into the ocean. A sand bar prevents the ruts I've experienced at south facing resorts. The walls are not the thickest so a loud neighbor can be tough. "Check in was easy and staff were very helpful. This is a hotel that is being renovated and I think will be at great when finished. We would love to come back when the tiki bar and grill are open(closed in January). Kids loved having their own space with the bunk bed room with their own tv. We walked to The Spot for dinner and drinks. Had gone to Jack Mackerels for lunch and explored the Fort Fisher museum. We would love to come back! "
