"Outdoor area of property has a beautiful art installation. The room was a good size, and the outdoor kitchen and dining area was intriguing. The main pool was under renovation, but the small personal pool which is allocated to each villa was adequate. A beach is under five minutes walk away. Parking is available for free. "Cariab Bay is a comfortable place with Duplex style houses surrounded by lush foliage across several winding paths. The breakfast is very good, European style, with croissants, coffee, yogurt, cheese, and fresh fruit. Catherine and Christophe are warm and inviting people, and their staff is friendly. "As the visitors information book says "We are not a hotel nor are we trying to be." This was a wonderful place for folks who prefer to be left to their own devices. Our cottage was at the edge of a path leading down to the beach. The amenities were simple: small bedroom, kitchenette, just a shower, and a quite private terrace with an amazing view of the Caribbean -- gorgeous sunsets every night! The place is quite close by car to many excellent restaurants and beaches. Definitely worth it!"
