"The Spier is a lovely vineyard with good accommodation. They are now starting a complete renovation of the hotel and keeping all their staff on as part of the plan . I have always felt completely safe and cared for within the hotel grounds . A wonderful breakfast in the sunshine is the perfect way to start the day . "This was a quaint and outstanding place to stay. We were in the oak three bedroom cottage and comfortable and nice. The location on the property was perfect and the staff was outstanding. "We had a fantastic stay at The Devon Valley Hotel. It offers a serene escape with stunning vineyard views and the Helderberg Mountains as a backdrop. Our room, although small, was elegantly furnished and had a spacious shower room. The staff provided warm hospitality and the food/wine was exceptional. The secluded outdoor pool and beautiful gardens were fantastic too, and offered a peaceful retreat after a long day cycling around wineries. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay."

The hotel is advertised to include air conditioning. Internet access, wifi, bar fridge. My room had none of these, it also had no TV.
