"Second time staying here and was disappointed with certain aspects from the first time. As a former publican I would not employ certain bar staff from this hotel. Ordered a drink at the bar and waited for my drinks then noticed the person who took my order was serving someone else further along the bar, only assume he could not mix the drinks I had asked for and went to serve someone else, very rude. When you are paying top price for drink you expect top service. Apart from this the staff were very good and helpful, especially at reception. "

"Great property in a good location in Christchurch. 10 minute walk to the riverside market. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the parking at the property was a bit expensive. I would park in the lot across the street. Otherwise a great hotel and I would stay again!"
