"I pay $96 for a room hotel and I had a horrible room with holes in the blanket, the towels was second hand, we had to go and talk to her guard that was the only staff there and after 45 minuts we can change the room, we came there at might night tired and we have to argue a lot about the room change. I will never book the before. There are not shampoo, not hair dryer, the basic things was not enough!"

"An amazing property to stay at if you have a quick 24-36 hour layover in Costa Rica. The staff is polite and attentive, the rooms are incredibly designed to provide a cultural feel with eco sensitivities, and the best part is that the property has about 2-3 hours of hiking available on the grounds Will come back next time I'm flying through SJO"

"A great little place in Alajuela with wonderful tucked away rooms off a small courtyard and the best staff. When we had to cancel at last minute, they were so gracious, and when we arrived for a second visit we found the place tranquil and serene. The access to the airport is very good via taxi as well."

"Our list night before early morning flight, everything went smooth and precise including the early shuttle service. Room had all we needed in good shape. The only comment is towards the noise from the floor, which is quite disturbing as guests coming/leaving basically whole night (well, consideration of these guests towards others is another question...). Overall reviews and expectations fulfilled."

"The owner was there to meet me. The room was perfect. I had a wonderful night's sleep. Great recommendation for dinner. Got me an easy and inexpensive cab for the early morning departure. Much more personal touch than with a big hotel - and more room. Also liked being in an area where I could walk to shops and restaurants."

"Elizabeth and Daniel went above and beyond to ensure that our time with them was safe and convienient. Despite the fact that our plane was delayed multiple times and we ended up coming in at a VERY unhappy hour, they gave us a shuttle from the airport, which is quite close, and also provided a breakfast in advance of our early departure. A solid place run by real people who are generous and sincere. Our thanks, Elizabeth and Daniel!"

"We were a group of 9 adults coming in to stay for one night before our morning flight out the next day. The hosts were very responsive and kind. They welcomed us and even picked us up from the rental car agency after dropping off our cars. The balconies are really nice. We enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing on our last night in Costa Rica. The next morning, we had a very early flight. Our host arranged for transportation for part of our group (since there were 9 of us with luggage) and...
