"This was my first experience at the Beach Club and it was a wonderful end to my 8 day trip across 3 hotels. It was tranquil, quiet and had everything I needed. The pool and hot tub were both great. The marina store has ANYTHING you might need while on vacation. The only disappointment was dinner at the adjacent Fish House restaurant. I expected something a bit more elevated considering how elegant the property is. "

"The location can’t be beat. Beautiful oceanfront location within walking distance to everything folly beach has to offer. They’ve obviously spent tremendous money updating the main floor - which is gorgeous - but stopped after that. The rooms are in dire need of not only updating, but maintenance. Tired furniture, creaky beds, holes in the tiles and walls, patchy paint, the list goes on. Overall we still loved our stay due to location alone."

"Everything about the hotel was great. Comfortable, clean, great location, within walking distance to the historic district and plenty of restaurants and bars. The only issue we had was regarding our check in. We arrived early, around noon, and were told that our room wasn't ready. We then went to lunch and toured the city. When we came back around 2:00 our room still wasn't ready. However, 5 different people came in while we were waiting and were able to get into their rooms early. I'm...

"Overall nice place, room was clean. Very nice staff all around. Starbucks in lobby was nice. Good thing, because the coffee and coffee maker in the room was not good. I think they would do better to upgrade to Keurig style. We left to the airport at 2:00am and it was the only coffee available at that time. Other then that we were very satisfied."
