"Old historic hotel in excellent location. Staff was warm and welcoming, room was comfy and spacious except for the very small bathroom. I guess a hundred years ago they didn't appreciate large bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again despite the sketchy elevators."

"the service at charleston place stands alone and is superb. we were a little disappointed that the pool was closed for renovations and nobody told us ahead of time. would have been nice to know, the real reason we pick charleston place in the winter is for the pool (kids). otherwise, it was a great stay as usual. "
