"A really nice riad with very good and helpful staff and a beautiful roof top restaurant. Very good food. The bathroom needed updating and the shower above the bath hit the window instead of the bath so was difficult to use (room 311) Breakfast was the same each morning which could be monotonous after 2. A wonderful location though and very nicely presented. "

"The staff (especially the kitchen staff) were amazing. Never seen such service and politeness anywhere else and i been all around the world. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Rooftop dining with the ocean all around is an experience in itself. The only negatives are only 1 channel on tv. "

"Our stay could not have been more perfect. Check-in was easy and the receptionist spoke English fluently. She helped us coordinate an early check out the next morning as well as a porter to meet us at 5 AM to bring our items to the parking area and meet our taxi. The staff is very diligent, and the property is gorgeous. We had a room that had an ocean view and we were able to listen to the waves crash throughout the night. "Casa Lila is a simply beautiful 300 year old riad, within the walls of the medina, an easy walk to everywhere in Essaouira. The people who work there are warm, lovely and welcoming- they are so helpful, and they love their city. We had a wonderful stay."
