"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"We were surprised that the property only consisted of one unit. It was a little more rustic than expected. However the owner shared meals with us at his home & the food was unique & delicious. As a dive master he took us snorkeling & was a great guide. He showed us around his property & the construction he has been working on for three additional units. The location is great. "As a couple who simply wanted a place to relax, DoubleTree was excellent. Tavu grill restaurant had the dinners we wanted - seafood. Vulani restaurant provided breakfast and lunch for various taste buds. The pool bar had deals such as 5 for the price of 4 = fjd $40 so that's not outrageous. Staff were simply superb. The bungalow overlooking the ocean is perfect for us. Only coffee/tea facility in the bure. Huge room. We will be back to this tranquil resort."
