"Bella esperienza tra i monasteri e i monaci di koyasan, tipica struttura giapponese con cena e colazione della tradizione, bella l’esperienza della preghiera mattutina ma un po’ limitanti gli orari della cena e la chiusura delle docce. Stanze molto fredde, ci sarebbe piaciuto trovare la stanza calda anziché avere la stessa temperatura esterna."

"It’s worth noting that this is not a normal hotel but a traditional pilgrim’s lodging, so it is expected that you sleep on a mat on the floor and the facilities are relatively basic. You are staying here for the experience. The property was clean with onsen (hot bath) provided and our room had its own toilet/sink. Our only complaint is that they no longer serve food and we were not notified of this despite this being part of our booking, however we found a restaurant for dinner walking distance...

"Die Tempelgebäude sind als Weltkulturerbe einzigartig und die Zeremonie am Morgen war sehr beeindruckend. Die Gästezimmer sind in einem Nebengebäude außerhalb untergebracht, das weniger Charme hat. Die Zimmer sind sehr einfach, ohne Schlüssel, und in unserem Zimmer roch es etwas muffig. Der Onsen ist nett, aber relativ klein. Das typisch japanische Essen war reichlich. Es gab außerdem Getränkeautomaten im Haus. "

"We got to stay here for the night of news years eve and enjoyed a vegetarian dinner. My husband cannot eat any wheat or gluten so the monks made sure he had a special vegetable dish with no soy sauce. The rooms were at first cold but with the heaters warmed up nicely. The hot baths were nice. We enjoyed walking the town and seeing the various shrines and temples and large cemetery too. The huge cypress trees were amazing. And the cemetery was lit at night too. We walked around in the evening and...

"Friendly ryokan style hotel with onsen and hot-stone sauna. Our room had a nice outdoor shower and private onsen. The restaurant served amazing food. It’s a popular family onsen, so expect it to be lively, especially during weekends. Absolutely recommended. "

"ソロ旅です！(コロナ禍ですから) 宿坊は、初めてで、どうして良いのかわからない中　親切にしていただきました。 山の緑も桜も美しい　とても大きな庭のある宿坊で、鶯の囀りを聴きながら、のんびりできました。こんな時だからだと思いますが、高野山の静寂を感じられて、幸せでした。"
