Having the resort located just a block away from 5th Ave was wonderful and convenient for nightly walks. "We just spent a fabulous 2weeks at Riu Palace Las Americas. The buffet was the best of all options. Room service was great! The only problem was the girl who MC'd the evening shows didn't speak clear English so we couldnt understand her. We stopped going to the shows. That was so frustrating. They really need to replace her. For that reason only, we wouldn't go back there. "

Service at the VIP restaurant was inconsistent, from excellent to average The beach is beautiful and great for long walks, but the water is tough to swim. "We took a vacation for Valentine’s Day and had a blast at the RIU Santa Fe all inclusive! They have spacious rooms with mini bar amenities (soda, water, beer and tequila dispenser). They have multiple pools, loved the ones by the beach as you can catch the sunset, watch the yachts and have a drink in the swim up bars. We also attended the pool parties, shows, night club and went on the water slides. Over all a great stay, we really didn’t have to leave as the food was great, drinks were strong...
