"This is not a 2.5 stars hotel, and it is not even a hostel. This is a room in an old resident building. The neighbours do not even know that room is a 'hotel room'. There is no any reception, you have to call (or email) the owner so that he would show up and give you the key. The free parking is just parking on street! Stay away this one if you are looking for a hostel/hotel! "

"Arenal Manoa is absolutely amazing!! The staff is fabulous, they know your name, polite, friendly. The grounds are beautiful, well kept. We stayed in the Chato Suite and it felt like our own private oasis with a breathtaking backyard space, swinging sofa, multiple sitting/laying arrangements around a fabulous pool with perfect views of the Arenal Volcano. "Everything was good except no WiFi in the rooms"

"The description of the property is fraudulent. No towels in the room, the hot water does not work, we reserved full size beds but were put ib a room with 4 twin beds. We had to climb 64 steps in the rain to get to our room. Internet is only available in the lobby."

"Beautiful property with very helpful, friendly staff. The thermal pools were amazing and our teenage boys had a blast in the waterslides. Seimbup bar was a nice touch but drink prices there were ridiculous. Other items around the hotel were affordable. Rooms were clean and comfortable, though all the dark wood made them too dark and not very cozy. Juan at the from desk was especially helpful and personable. "Loved the hotel, except for toilet stop up issues. Did everything we could to prevent, but had to worry about toilet and smelled outside room."

"Overall this place was picturesque... everyone was very helpful went out of their way to make sure everything was just right. The only complaints I have, they were repairing the walkway lights, it was very dark at night, thank God I had a flashlight on my phone. But I did pass an elderly couple who are trying to find their room so I help them. Also their tools were left laying around. This is only temporary but it did kind of catch me off guard for such a great looking, well kept facility."
