"This is not a 2.5 stars hotel, and it is not even a hostel. This is a room in an old resident building. The neighbours do not even know that room is a 'hotel room'. There is no any reception, you have to call (or email) the owner so that he would show up and give you the key. The free parking is just parking on street! Stay away this one if you are looking for a hostel/hotel! "

"The description of the property is fraudulent. No towels in the room, the hot water does not work, we reserved full size beds but were put ib a room with 4 twin beds. We had to climb 64 steps in the rain to get to our room. Internet is only available in the lobby."

"We stayed here 4 days, had a lovely junior suite, very large room and bath with private outdoor space surrounded by plants so felt very private. We enjoyed doing things in the Fortuna area and spending 1-2 hours in the hot springs pools each day. Night was very pretty with the colored lights on the pools and less people than during the day. Staff very helpful, including one who would give us rides in the golf cart back to our suite which was at the far wnd of property. Only issue were the dining...

"Pros: the hotel grounds are nice, staff were very helpful/friendly, the pool area is great, and the breakfast was excellent. It's in a great location close to La Fortuna waterfall and walking distance to the El Salto rope swing and a few restaurants. We had a car though, and I would recommend having one if staying here for better access to La Fortuna. Cons: the wifi doesn't work in the rooms - only in the pool area, restaurant, and lobby. The bed (specifically the pillows) were not...

"This was the perfect spot for our family’s first time to La Fortuna and Costa Rica. If you don’t mind the drive into town for activities, which we didn’t at all, this place is quiet and beautiful! We loved sitting at both open-air restaurants and having a drink while our kids swam in the hot springs. The hiking trail and river slide/swimming were beautiful. We saw lots of birds and heard all the cicadas and howler monkeys in the evenings. We would definitely stay again!"
