"Wyndham has purchased this hotel, but done absolutely NOTHING to improve the quality of the hotel. It is more run down than it ever was before when it was just the Chicago South Loop Hotel (not the Wyndham Chicago Mccormick Hotel). The people who work at the hotel are wonderful. They are professional, kind, helpful, and caring. The general infrastructure is just old and things need to be replaced or updated like carpeting, paint on walls, and fitness center equipment. "the property is in an excellent location and the self park, which is free, is likely the best on the strip. Room was clean but starting to look a little worn, however don't let this be a deterrent from staying here. I highly recommend for the price. "

"We stay here regularly, it is showing its age, still great value especially with kids. Lots of space to socialize outside of the rooms. You can use the tables for games, and other take out meals. Pool in the middle is great. The breakfast could have a few more options like fruit or yogurt. "
