"Apparently this is one of the 'best' hotels in Ayutthaya so you have to take the good with the inconvenient. Designed as a 'boutique' hotel - emphasis seems to be on design over guest experience. The main passage is dramatic and impressive - leading to lots of halls with stairs to rooms on the upper levels.
