The hotel was also very close to a Don Quijote, Lawson, and Seicomart. The only room option available at the time was a smoking room, and while it was clean, the room itself seemed old and like it needed some updating. The view from my room was nice though, and there wasn't a lingering odor...

"This was a pretty nice ryokan/onsen. Positives: The staff were friendly, and they even had a reserved shuttle bus that will take you from the hotel to New Chitose Airport. The dinner and breakfast buffet was also great because they tried to serve local Sapporo/Hokkaido delicacies. Like, we were able to do our own gengiskhan lamb cooktop for our buffet dinner (which is only found mainly in Hokkaido). Negatives: it was so crowded! This is a big ryokan so there were tons of people checking in and...

"Conveniently located at the lower slope of Noboribetsu. Price is affordable but lift is small and slow. Onsen is a indoor and an outdoor with no views. Room is clean, spacious with plenty of charging plugs in the room. Bed, pillow and duvet is soft and comfortable. We had a wonderful sumptuous Japanese breakfast with mixture of western delights. You do have to walk up a slope to reach the Carpark. If you want an affordable place to stay, here is a good recommendation."
