"Perfect nights stay Bath and shower enough lighting in the room comfy bed and bedding full length mirror and magnifying mirror plenty of charging points hairdryer iron and board mini fridge safe . Best of all is the spa with plenty of diffent rooms to go in and pools including the outdoor pool with jacuzzi and waterfall bar open 24h brilliant overall "

"Corridors & hotel room tired e.g. torn wallpaper, scuffed table. Receptionist accused me of not paying for dinner the night before where I had to provide a credit card statement as proof of payment as apparently the till receipt wasn’t suffice & the Waiter didn’t provide a pdq receipt. Fantastic facilities & grounds & felt very festive!"

"We have stayed at the Old Hall Hotel over many years. On each visit we have never been disappointed with anything the hotel offers. A stay at the hotel is a unique experience. Its long history, in a wonderful location, reflects an atmosphere and character not possible in a more modern hotel. Checking out this time, we were a little bothered to receive a bill for room service drinks which we hadn't had. The matter was resolved easily and pleasantly by the receptionist and wont affect our memory...

"Nice hotel if lacking a bit of character. Room was ok. It was facing the main road so a bit noisy - no chance of a lie in if you wanted one especially on the Monday. Very comfortable bed and very clean. A little on the cold side for my liking but was offered extra blankets if I wanted. The bathroom was really quite cold even with the heated rail on. "A lot bigger than i realised. It was a great suprise. Good size room, big shower room. Where the hotel shines is by doing all the simple thing right. - high pressure shower - 2 chairs in room - bowl of sweets - comfy king size bed - good quality pillows - good soundproofing - comfortable temp. - friendly, helpful staff - good quality, fresh breakfast I thoroughly enjoyed staying. "A lovely, comfortable hotel. A good location overlooking Ashbourne with plenty of parking in the pub carpark across the road. The bedroom and bathroom were warm and cosy during a very cold night. Complimentary milk, soft drinks and water in refrigerator - a wonderful touch. The breakfast in the adjoining pub was delicious. Will definitely be returning "

"Booked two nights on a whim , we both loved it the room was perfect they even made sure we had same room both nights . Food was fantastic as well great service dog friendly which was so good to see . We ran over into late check out and was late for breakfast the staff wasn't fazed at all 10/10 stay definitely recommend "
