Literally there is no road or pavement that leads you to the hotel, so every time you leave the hotel you will get your feet and/or shoes dirty. "Phuket Panwa is a great hotel in a quiet and scenic location. A stretch to call it 5-stars, but it would certainly make a great 4-star hotel. The rooms were dated, but very comfortable. When you have sea facing rooms, just know there's high & low tides. When it's high tide, the view is scenic and serene, takes your mind away from reality. The breakfast buffet has a great selection of your usual international and local fares. The small private beach could certainly do with some garbage pick ups,...

"It was a nice property to get away. It is a little older but they looked to be always working on the maintenance and upkeep. You are alone with no other properties or town near by unless you take the monkey trail over to the town around the mountain. Lots of steps / steep steps by very manageable. Make sure to double check any reservations that you might make to be sure they were made properly, we had a couple that were not correct and must have been lost in translation. Jeff at the front...
