My only concern was that the interior of the main door to the room did not have another layer of safety, which would be a lock from the inside only.The door only has a deadbolt, so anyone with a spare key or ability topic the lock would be able to enter. I would suggest an inside bar lock. Otherwise it was a great place and we would stay again."

"Don’t let the location fool you. It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. "What a marvelous snowy getaway at 2W Lake B&B! Host Clark was attentive, responsive, and provided a wealth of knowledge about the area.
