"advertised as a normal albeit adults only hotel we booked in for 3 nights. Transpired it’s essentially a short stay love hotel.It would seem that users of this type of hotel are buzzed in and out of the room by staff behind the scenes, communication by in house telephone. "NO TATTOOS. Is the first sign you see when checking in. Perhaps if you have a small discrete tattoo, they will still permit you to use their hot-baths on site. Ideal for couples, seniors, less so for families with children. The beds were quite hard. The in-room food service was very good, as was the breakfast buffet. Both indoor and outdoor onsen was very nice, with the outdoor one having a nice view of Gifu Castle. "
