"Staff was very friendly and the accommodations very comfortable. Open areas to relax outside your room were well appointed. I would skip the ‘spa’ as it’s really just a series of saunas (nice but not worth paying the daily fee). Nothing in the area (other than the Blue Lagoon) if you don’t have a car, so plan on having to eat at the hotel restaurant for all your meals. Food was fine, but it gets redundant. "

"Great hotel and spa, really well presented building and the rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very attentive and polite. OK it's a little pricey but well worth the experience overall. The only negative for me was from the Lava restaurant where I had probably the worst steak ever especially given it's hefty price tag."
