"Bare bones, but the room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was bottled water in the room and a hot shower (which in Costa Rica is not always a given). I was pleased, too, that they did come pick me up at the airport even though my plane arrived after stated shuttle hours. "

"Great place to stay if you arrive late or are heading to airport early, as it’s only 5min drive. The owner can arrange transport to airport for 15$. The house was very clean and exactly as described, would defiantly stay again."

"We paid months ahead as with many other accommodations, which we've never had any issues with. This place was hard to find so we called to clarify directions, and we were told if we didn't have a 4x4 that it wasn't possible to get to (which was NOT mentioned on the booking site on Expedia) We were left to scramble and find a place to stay last minute which was inconvenient and cost a lot more. We were also informed we would be given the money back but months later we still haven't seen it. "

"We booked this hotel last minute as our reservation was cancedue to double booking and it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as this hotel even though a bit expensive than other one was far better. Our room was huge. 2 double beds and 1 twin bed. Big almirah and a fridge. No microwave. 24 hour front desk. We only stayed for the night as we had pretty early morning flight. They have free parking but its 5 minutes walk to the parking lot. You could park in front of hotel to load and unload. The lady at front desk was nice. The day we were there, they had a scheduled shuttle at 4am for guests. Not sure if there was extra charge for it or if it even runs every day. We had to leave earlier so we did not used it. Make sure to have bug spray as there were few mosquitoes when lights were on in the room."

"The staff was wonderful, the room clean and comfortable and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. Our only complaint was that the shuttle didnt wait an extra ten minutes for our plane's late arrival. "

"I would say it's more like 4.5 stars. The room was small but spotless and fit our family of 4. Comfortable beds. Check-in was easy and the staff was pleasant and very nice. Breakfast was delicious, and set in a cute little courtyard. We easily took an Uber to the airport for a reasonable cost. The cons: no A/C, so we opened the window, but there were no screens so I got bug bites (just me, no one else) and the cars on the street were kind of noisy. But given the price of the room, you can't complain - you could just put on some bug spray and bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper!"
