I had the best stay at Galata Nordstern! The room was comfortable, though it could use a little update—some fittings in the bathroom were a bit worn, like the broken toilet seat and towel bar. That said, I didn’t mind too much because everything else made up for it. I loved the lively outdoor sounds, the convenience of nearby food, and the fun walk to Galata Port and Hagia Sophia. The staff was incredible, especially when they surprised me with a delicious cake on my birthday! Breakfast was simple but fine, and the rooftop views with chai were breathtaking. Overall, a wonderful experience—I’ll definitely be back!

The hotel was nice, with comfy beds and big rooms. My room had splendid a view to the Galata Tower. Staff is always ready to help, they even brought a plate of fruit as welcome. Breakfast was good with a fabulous terrace, but with only basic options, you should add yogurt and more sweet pastries. The tram stop is in front of the hotel which is very convenient, or you can cross the bridge and easily walk to the historical center.

This was a great spot to stay. Easy to navigate the city with the tram so easily accessible. Front desk staff was helpful and accommodating. The street was loud but the windows close and the view was breathtaking. Rooftop access was great for evening photo shoots.

The location and the staff were excellent. However, my upgraded room was on the 4th floor, where they were making major repairs to the flooring making very loud noise all afternoon. Most of the view from my room was blocked by a ghosted skeleton building, which was too ugly to ignore. Hopefully, both of these conditions are temporary and will not affect others.
