"An attractive small ‘slightly quirky” traditional hotel,- so much better than the modern sanitised hotel chains.Location excellent, overlooking the sea, yet close for the ferry and for the “old” town. It was the staff however who were the stars! Lucie at Reception was delightful and most professional, whilst in the Dining Room Eliza was simply sensational. Her bubbly personality and excellent service made our final night in France one to remember. "

"An amazing place. I read some of the negative reviews prior to booking and given the high standards that we were met with it hard to believe some of the comments. The room was finished to a high standard and was magnificently equipped. It’s right on the beach and the pool facilities looked great although we did not have time to use. We will 100% stay here again. "

"Would stay again. Quiet and comfortable room with good bed. Staff friendly and helpful with English spoken. Easy to find and access and easy to park on street for free. 30 minutes walk to the old town along the sea front which is very tidy and well kept. Nice continental breakfast with good selection."

"We stayed 2 nights at the end of August. We had a beautiful and comfortable room at one of the gatehouses. The bed was comfy, there were several English tv channels including BBC1 and 2, ITV and channel 4. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and well planned. The breakfast was all self service. "Had a great stay with my wife and 1 year old baby - lovely room, easy parking and access to local town. Phillippe was a superb host and made us feel very welcome and provided excellent local recommendations. Also very practical option for our toddler which was a relief, room was great for the baby and access to ground floor facilities (kitchen etc.) was a godsend. Hope to return next time."

"We stayed in the family suite- it was lovely and had so many floor to ceiling windows. It was nicely layes out with a table/chair as well as a desk and a couch. The suite was very clean. The kids liked the drinks in the mini fridge that were included in our stay. There is a really good Italian restaurant that is a 2 minute walk away and the bakery across the street had amazing pain au chocolats….maybe the best we had our entire time in France. Parking is underground but there was lots of street parking that was free for the night (then it became pay parking at 9am). We would certainly return. "
