"We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room overlooking the estuary. Our room had a small table and two chairs as well as a side table for hot water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. There was plenty of room for two of us with a gorgeous view. "

"We loved being at Knoll House Hotel… it was like stepping back in time … such an interesting history and it was warmly welcoming. We loved the spa and outside pool and being near the sea for swimming . The staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable and clean. We had a room right at the back of the property which was very peaceful. I’ve heard that developers are knocking at the door but please don’t change anything about this Hotel. "Everything we hoped it would be and more. Friendly, very helpful staff and fantastic food and service which started before we arrived. The views across the Exe are stunning and the extensive grounds beautifully kept. We plan to come back next summer so we can use the beautiful pool and croquet lawn. Loved the chilled out vibe in the Poolside restaurant. "
