"If you’re going to Mt Fuji, then try this side of the mountain and stay at this place. This ryoken (traditional Japanese Inn) has everything a ryoken would typically have, but also an onsen on the first floor. Having a bath in the onsen after seeing Lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji on your front steps is something I'll never forget, and cant wait to experience again. One caveat is that the amenities in the room are small, but not really an issue. As for entertainment or good places, you’ll have to go...
