Great and children friendly hotel. Location is very convenient.

This is in an ideal location for all the main sights and also for the tram line which crosses Galata bridge to Beyoğlu and beyond. The room was good without being outstanding and the facilities the same. Breakfasts and restaurants were ok but could and should be improved for a hotel of this standard. Overall a fine place to stay.

Great experience at Carina Gold. The area is safe and close to the tramway station, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the facilities are excellent, the rooms are very clean, and the smell is exceptional. We will definitely come back again when in Sultanahmet.

Not expensive but sub par. Bad pillows and beds. Very cramped bathroom. Not quiet. Hallways have very turned up heat. Breakfast awful! Upon arrival which was dinner time we were told the resturant that was recommended was no linger good snd the front desk suggested a really awful place. The day manager was much more helpful and easy to converse with. Location fir the old city is exceptional. Would not stay there again!

This hotel is 10 mins walk away from the blue mosque, very convenient. The hotel is clean and rooms are nice, the breakfast buffet is simple but lovely. I would say if anyone has mobility issues then look for a hotel closer as the walking might can be steep to the tourist areas unless you’re using taxi. Otherwise the hotel is in a good location and walkable, the metro is also near the blue mosque to get to the other areas like grand bazaar / topkapi/taksim etc. metro is easy to use you can buy a metro card or use your credit card which should be like 40 lira a ride. Also I wouldn’t recommend restaurants around the hotel area as it’s very pricy and does not taste as good. The hotel itself great! And has a sea view at the back which is also a 2 minute walk.
