"Lovely character cottage and lovely host. We didn't get any check-in instructions but our host popped out to greet us when we arrived (late) and showed us quickly around so it was no problem. Very well equipped which made for a relaxed stay."

I was a little dissapointed that the pub and coffee shop they display on their website were closed for the off-season. Yet there are plenty of alternatives within walking distance. "A very well looked after hotel in a prime location. The staff were very friendly, informative and efficient. Our room was very spacious, warm and had everything we needed. It was also very clean. Plenty of dining opportunities and great pubs with entertainment for anyone looking for a good night out. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone seeking a weekend break."

Surpassed all expectations

"We were treated like lord and lady in this wonderful country estate by the very warm and welcoming host. The house is full of beautiful furniture and decorations. We had access to a sitting room where the fireplace kept the room warm and comfortable, and we could relax for as long as we liked. The dining room was the site of the breakfasts which were amazing—delicious full Irish breakfasts with plenty of fresh fruits. Our only regret was not staying longer."

Lovely Visit - 11 out of 10!

"We had a serene and relaxing visit at Hillcrest B&B. Noeleen is a wonderful host and gave us wonderful suggestions where to visit and hike in Yeats Country and beyond! Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, and our daily breakfast was complete with farm fresh eggs, pancakes, porridge and pastries. We so enjoyed being part of a working farm, and the views of Lough Arrow were nothing short of stunning, especially at sunset. Thank you again, Noeleen and Kieran for a lovely time, and we will surely be back again for another visit!"
