"The staff were great, polite and attentative.. the food at the beach side reastuant was exellent.. The wife wanted a wine for dinner but the onky thing they were serving was beer.. Im not a drinker, but if you have it on a menu, then you should be serving it. Otherwise dont put it on the menu.."

"This was a lovely little budget resort. 35 chalets arranged around a swimming pool and garden. The pool was nice with very warm water so could spend ages in it. Sun loungers around the edge. I was worried there was only Thai breakfast and the staff didn't speak English. However after sitting with a glass of water for 5 minutes the waitress brought me fried egg with frankfurters and 2 slices of toast. "Nice little getaway in a good location, the beach is fabulous and water super warm and clear. Nice pool area and lounge chairs and cushions between pool and Beach, very nice relaxing place. "

"Beautiful location right on the silky sands of Chao Lao Beach. Amazing sunsets every night. Delicious breakfasts with a wide variety of choices. The area is a bit out of the way if you don't have your own car but it's worth. You can take buses to and from Chanthaburi and taxi from there. You can borrow bicycles for free at the hotel. All of the staff seem to be very nice and helpful but of course not all can speak English. Special shout out to the manager Wiboon, who made everything perfect."
