"The services from Rebecca, the manager and other receptionist lady were great and thank you so much for the upgraded room which is greatly appreciated. The hotel is generally very good especially in the restaurant and reception areas and although the rooms were a bit dated they were clean. The location is 15 mins walk to the centre and there were lots of free parking at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was good but the sausage was poor quality! I would return on my next visit to Derby. "What an excellent place i will be returning and staying in these quaint but rustic and beautiful hotel. The rooms were bigger than an average size, the bar and restaurant was wonderful sitting next to a slow burning fire just like the good old days as a child. Food was exceptional the staff were second to none and couldn’t do enouh for you. Breakfasts were plentyful and hot."
