My stay at the Day's Inn was good. It's not a luxury motel, but it is completely adequate for my needs. The only items I noted that were missing for an 80-year-old such as myself, were a handrail in the shower and some sort of non-skin rubber mat to place in the bathtub. These two items are not really pertinent for younger people, but would be appreciated by the older, less stable on their feet folks.

I found this place to be a dive. The host was a computer kiosk with an Asian woman who’s English I could barely understand. The woman may have been AI, but if so, she was very real like. The building was old and drab. It had seen many better days including its small plain rooms with worn out furnishings. The kiosk woman put me in a room that was still being cleaned at about 4 PM in the afternoon. While waiting for the maids, an ancient couple, at the swimming pool, I noticed there were tenants hanging around who made me feel unsafe. I loaded my car back up and left for better lodging before sundown, and in doing so I gave up my fee. You see, there was no one in the office with which to request a refund except the computer woman who spoke poor english.

The young lady that checked me in was great. That’s where it ends! The bathroom vent has enough crud on it to grow a garden. After traveling all night, my wife wanted to take a shower, and guess what? No hot water! I mentioned this to the front desk at around 1pm. When we returned later that evening, still no hot water. The guy at the front desk stated that the plumber was contacted but had no ETA. Completely unacceptable! I will be expecting a refund in full. In what day and age can you not get a plumber on an emergency call in the early afternoon? The front deck guy can have his food trailer up and running, but lord forbid you get your guests hot water. I will not stay here again nor any other Wyndham property. I understand this is a budget property in a resort town, but come on……

Easy to get too, you can pre register on line. Walkable dining, food truck on Sat evening. Room was clean, it was quiet. Short drive to shopping and was 8 min to our family.
