Your Latvia Holiday Itinerary
Day 1-2: Many travellers enter Latvia via Riga International Airport. Explore the capital city’s most popular attractions, such as the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum, Old Town and the Riga Ghetto Museum. Enjoy a leisurely stroll around Riga's art nouveau district and marvel at the architecture.
Day 3-5: Pick up the keys to your rental car and take a short drive west to Jurmala, a magnificent seaside playground. Check in to one of the resort’s legendary spas, laze on miles of sandy beaches and people-watch at Jomas iela — a long pedestrian boulevard.
Day 6: Continue west to the charming town of Kuldiga. It’s renowned for its baroque architecture and for being the home of Europe’s widest waterfall, the Venta Rapid.

One of Latvia’s biggest national celebrations is the Proclamation of the Republic of Latvia, on November 18. Torchlight processions are held around the country on this day, with the largest procession in Riga.
