"Wasn't expecting ensuite to be across the hall from our room, although the Guesthouse reminded me of my childhood family weekends away. A quiet peaceful place and hardly heard others coming and going. We ate at a local bar/ restaurant - expensive meal (exchange rates AUD the main reason) but delicious."

"Somewhat disappointing. No one was there to check us in of inquire about our needs. Kind of eerie to stay at a hotel and not see anybody else (employees or guests) during our stay. Plus there was no Highland Cattle plush in our room as their web-site pictures suggest. Otherwise, a comfortable room that was clean and well-maintained."

"Owner arranged early entry and communicated well over WhatsApp. Room was very comfortable and little touches like the muffin and milk in the fridge for an afternoon cuppa go a long way. Everything was well planned out for breakfast the following Morning and wow what a choice ! House is situated amongst trees and I would highly recommend! Would not hesitate to stay again if I was in the area!"

"Jackie and Keith were lovely hosts who made sure i had everything I needed for my week-long hiking trip to Loch Ness: a strong hearty breakfast every morning, comfortable room to come home to, daily chekins and timely weather forecast and information on their favourite local trails. Location-wise, 5 stars! I especially enjoyed walking across the street to the Visitor Center for tour bookings, was within a stone throw of Nessie exhibition center, and drove out to do 360 trails around Loch Ness...

"We had appartment 11 in the Monastery (North). A really lovely appartment and perfect for a few nights away in the Highlands. The room had literally everything you could possibly need! The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. I know its luck of the draw.... but the weather was absolutely perfect for our stay and it just made it all the better! The only thing to mention is that there is no lift, but luckily that didnt bother us. We certainly got our steps in for the days we were...
