"Our room was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great for any access to subway transportation. It is somewhat convenient for restaurants and other venues -- especially the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Layout is a little strange - but it worked. Note if you are parking a car that the hotel does not have it's own garage - you'll need to drop off any luggage - check in and then drive to park your car a few blocks away."

"Internet went down when I was attempting to check-in. Had to wait in lobby for 15-20 extra minutes for my key card to get registered. Receptionist was on the phone texting and FaceTiming when I walked up. Told me to hold while she finished. Never hung up the FaceTime until she couldn’t get the key card to work and then told that person she would call them back. Manager never came out to apologize to me or tell both receptionist to get off their phones. "

"Hi it was fine- Excellent shower and room amenities. Front desk rarely had anyone there it was hard to find help. Also they charged $100 and locked up my card for many days and I did not use any services- this was annoying. Also why don’t you include parking with the room??? That is very onorous in a location where everyone has to have a car:"

"I love the look and feel of the Paper Collective, which is cool and fun. I didn't love that the pillows offer not head support (and when I asked for more pillows, it had to be multiple times), the smallness of the shower that caused flooding all the time, or the rudeness of the front desk staff. I will say the maintenance and housekeeping staff were gems -- friendly, attentive, and overall wonderful. The bar or restaurant was never open, so I can't weigh in on that. "I was greeted neatly and got my room and parking as I paid for in a timely and efficient manner. Make sure to remind the valet to charge your electric car if you have it. I told front desk at check in time but I texted valet to double check early morning and they didn’t get the message so I had low charge when I got the car back. (No biggie just remind them) I did get a knock at 10:57 right before check out time (11am). Overall I enjoyed the room, the view, and the convenience of its location! "

"We had a fine night. Close to airport. Our only observation was that I booked the double queen suite for four people. One of us planned to sleep on the pull-out sofa. There were no spare sheets or blankets for the sofa. I had to call for linens and towels. There were only two places to sit, so I called for two chairs, but did not get them delivered."
