"This hotel was very unique. We stayed on the 3rd floor (no elevator but that wasn’t an issue for us). We had a room with 3 beds which was very convenient for our family. The hotel itself shows its age but it was only one night so we didn’t mind. Breakfast was good, they offered eggs, coffee, cheeses and breads. Our room was a river view (while not attractive due to pollution) it was nice to have the windows open and hear the rush of water to help you sleep. The shower was also spacious. "

"The view was amazing from our room. They charged me $40 dollars for a late check out. We had 2 rooms. They said that we needed to pay for both rooms. Because if we payed for one room. only 2 people would be able to go in the room. We booked with Expedia. It said free breakfast included. They also charged us for breakfast at the hotel. "

"The rooms were fine. You could hear the trains passing by and some other noises. The pool was very small you could only get your feet wet and it wasn’t very clean. The WiFi is not the best but after the staff restarted it, it was fine. For one night this stay is fine but not longer."

"Irma was the best!!! Since my wife and I got there she made us feel so comfortable. It's not a 5 star hotel but the attention to ensure that you're comfortable beats any 5 star hotel. We visited in late October so did not experience the mosquitos from other reviews. What we did experience was the view and the sound of the water flowing in the river. "Hey you get what you pay for. We knew that we would only need this room for approximately 5 hours, as we arrived late on the train and would be getting back up at 3:45am to catch the bus to Machu Picchu. They were very accommodating and let us leave a majority of our belongings with them. The beds were actually quite comfortable as was the room. We did get the since though that even though Agus Callientes is a small town, (Uphills both ways) this Hostal maybe wasnt in the most safest place,...
