We booked a triple room. It was cosy and comfortable enough. Wasnt very big but was enough space for the few days we were there. Breakfast was ok. Not great but was ok and enough. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly. Price was good. The stairs up to the rooms were challenging for my mam. Room was nice and warm and bathroom was good. Overall it was a good stay and the location was great!

The hotel room was very unique. We had to go through a tiny short door through the bathroom to get to our room. I didn’t mind that, it was just different than anything I’ve ever seen but it made us laugh. What I really missed was a shower, there was only a bath available. And the breakfast was pretty bad but it was free…other than that it was a beautiful property, walking distance to every thing and the staff was very welcoming

All was ok. Rooms are quite small. There was some damp in the bathroom (but hey, it is an old building). Most frustrating was the breakfast started at 8am and we needed to be somewhere for 8!

Hotel in a great location with a fab breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that we stayed in the apartment and it was a bit of a pain to walk through a low door to/from the bathroom and bedroom. This was through the bathroom also. Bathroom door also didn’t shut properly and didn’t have a shower facility. However we made it work and for the price, we made it work. Otherwise everything as described.

A very relaxing stay
We received an upgrade on our room which was a nice surprise. We were met by very helpful and friendly staff and our stay was very comfortable. The place has an old charm and we loved the quirkiness of it. The breakfast was excellent and we will definitely return.

Disappointing Stay at the Mitre Hotel.
My stay at the Mitre Hotel in Manchester was disappointing. Despite paying over £130 for a single-person room, the accommodations were average, with broken amenities and a pervasive smell of an old building. The morning was marred by the incessant ringing of nearby cathedral bells, making sleep difficult. The corridors were also unpleasant, and the stairs uncomfortable. On the upside, the hotel's central location and included breakfast were positives. Overall, while convenient, the experience did not justify the high price.
