"The apartment needs serious updates if not a complete renovation. The microwave plug doesn’t reach the outlet. The kitchen cookware is rusty and bent. We found a dead roach in a tea cup. Black mold in the shower. The drawers in the bedroom were broken. A light bulb was missing and another one was burnt out. They left one toilet paper roll for a two week stay. Lack of communication led us to have a car in the garage while work was done in it and we were told we could not leave with the vehicle as it would damage the work. "This is my second time staying here. It is clean, pleasant, and reasonably priced. Most appreciate that it is in the touristy area of Santa Teresa and near LAPA. That is nice too. There's also a great view of the center from most rooms. My only minus, which isn't tied to the place, is that if you're out late, it can be difficult to get an uber up into the steep hills of Santa Teresa. Most taxis will though."

"I cant say enough good things about this place and the customer service that i received. The pictures show exactly how the place look. Its sparkling clean, really comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. Now i wont look any further any time i have a trip to Rio. Another plus for this property is the doorman: they are also amazing and really helpful. I never been so happy to stay in a property like i was at this one. For sure i will be booking again."

"This used to be an excellent hotel but obviously now outdated by the the changing world of technology. Outlets close to the beds with usd drive are lacking. No microwave oven. The room comfort seems to be minimal compared to the hotel standings. The staff is helpful and professional. "

"I absolutely loved this hotel. It was in a nice area, very walkable. Right across from the beach. The staff was very sweet and accommodating! I really enjoyed my time there and was sad when it was time to switch hotels. They also had a very extensive breakfast that was very good. "
