We unfortunately only stayed for one night on a transit through Milan, but cannot fault this B&B and would have happily stayed longer. Communication with the owner was great. Clear instructions. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Thought and care have definitely gone into this property. Everything felt very homely and personal. The owner found out we weren't staying for breakfast due to our early morning train, so went to the trouble of putting together a care package of rolls and treats for our travels (checking prior to see what we wanted on our rolls!). A little far from the train station to walk, especially felt a little unsafe with just myself and teenage daughter at night, but taxis easy to get and cost about 12euros.

Great family run B & B. They were so helpful telling us info about Milan and giving us extra food to take with us on our onwards journey. You get a great selection at breakfast and plenty of it too! Quiet at night and lovely spacious room for sleeping. Very quirky Italian room which was very clean.

The access included three different codes we had to enter and we had to figure out the way to get out of the place. Elevetor is way too small and the staff did not offer any help with luggage despite a fat tip I left them at the end. Breakfast was nice.

An Excellent B&B for your stay in Milan
What a great B&B this is. The service was excellent. The owners could not do enough for you. You are treated like an individual. You could choose your own breakfast And the time you had it. The rooms were full of character. The B&B was located close to the centre but still mice and quiet. Finally there are two excellent restaurants within a few metres of the B&B

An amazing place with a friendly owners and a staff. Very Italian- with unique atmosphere. Everything is very clean here. I have slept well- nearly overslept for breakfast! Allocation is perfect- next to underground stop and nice walking distance to all Miln’a attractions. Breakfast was amazing with a homemade preserves- home cooking and friendliness. In request will cover all allergy and food preferences. I have been offered sandwich for lunch- what the an amazing gesture. Thank you for everything, definitely I will be back.

What can I say, they know well their business. Checking in was a breeze, the owner wrote us the same day we booked it to provide us with the check-in instructions. Location is great, the directions that we got from the owner were fantastic, we go here in 5 minutes from Milano Centrale. Ir was a HOT summer day, 39 Celsius. And when we got there the AC was on! Was like entering heaven. There's a mini fridge in there and guess what it got? Cold water. WOW. As for the amenities it's out of this world, shampoo and soap was awesome, and the shower size is big, that's a nice to have when in Europe. The beds were very comfy and the AC worked perfectly. Can't complain on the WiFi either, it was very fast. As for breakfast it was the nicest ezper we had in our trip. The owners prepared us an amazing breakfast and were very attentive of us. They even say down with my dad to talk about Costa Rica for more than 30 minutes. He couldn't be happier! Breakfast had a wide choice of options: croissant, eggs, tomato and cheese, ham, cheese, yogurt, cereal, omelette, and they even prepared us this cappuccino in a big cup, couldn't be more perfect. Checkout was so simple and they even sent us with a sandwich for my dad and water bottles for the trip. They really love what they do and it shows. They have other hotels in Italy so make sure you check them out, if I could give them a 15/10 I would! Thank you for making our stay perfect and we'll sure visit again.

Antico Cortile is a beautiful place. A lovely view from the balcony, very comfy bed, good air con. The bathroom in our room was absolutely amazing, everything you need provided. Breakfast delicious with lots of options. Couldn’t recommend this place more if you are looking for somewhere in Milan’s centre. Convenient to get to as well. Our host even gave us some sandwiches to take away in the morning. 10/10.

A great place
I had nenver stayed at a B&B before. When the host Angela showed us our bedroom in a 4 bedroom apartment unit on the forth level of an old building, I was first surprised, but in a good way. The unit was really clean, small but cozy. It has everything you would need. My son even got some small toys from her. The room we booked has a king bed and a twin bed, with our own bathroom. It is perfect for a family of 3, or even 4 if the kids are little. Only downside is the window insulation is not that great so you may hear outside traffic. But you are in a big city, so wouldn't you expect that?

One Night in Milan
We came into Milan Centrale and were leaving the next morning for the airport. The B&B was about a 30 minute walk from the station and was a little difficult to find the first time. The young lady that met us was excellent and very informative about sites to see in Milan, however, we arrived late and it began raining early evening, and as we were leaving about 5:30 a.m. we decided to pass on the sites. We generally like to spend $100 total if possible and the B&B was about $100 however the taxes and fees added an additional 30% making it about $130 for the night which was a little pricey for 14 hours. This was our fault for not booking closer to the train station. As we would not be around for breakfast, the young lady went out of her way to make us sandwiches to bring on our journey in the morning. When we realized that perhaps we should change our hotel and stay closer to the train station, we were not able to as the cancellation had to be done 7 days ahead. The room was small but clean except some mold on the bathroom wall. The shower was modern but difficult to figure out. The bed was sort of a platform as there was about a 7 inch wood ledge around the mattress which was a trip hazard as well as being low to the ground for older people. There were no English channels, not even BBC.
